This is the story of a young man who was diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure four years ago and succeeded in curing himself. Insulin and high blood pressure pills seemed inevitable. However, he chose another option to overcome his illness: Raw fruits and vegetables!
Four years ago, he accidentally found out that he had diabetes when he visited the doctor after he experienced symptoms of constant thirst.
The results were shocking: his sugar turned out to be 29 and he was told that his pancreas was no longer working, so he wouldn’t be able to live without taking insulin. The situation made him cope with the illness, and he did everything required to preserve his health, took part in various sports activities, and regularly took insulin.
Nevertheless, his medical condition was becoming even worse, consuming numerous pills, and other problems manifested. His triglyceride levels increased up to 16, his pressure was up to 150/100. And he had enough.
His 2013 New Year Resolution was that he would overcome his illness. He turned on the TV and saw the show “The Edge of Science”.
That night, Dr. John Zirdum was the guest on the show and spoke about his healthy lifestyle. Namely, he lived on raw foods for 12 years. After watching the show, he gave it some thought and decided to try it by himself. He bought a blender and started a completely new life.
During the first week, he had the same temptations and all of them were successfully overcome which gave him his first results. In a very short period of time, his blood sugar level dropped to 5.
It was unbelievable for him. He reconsidered the insulin treatment, but decided to quit when he realized all he had to do was maintain this miraculous healthy diet to stabilize his sugar levels. In case it failed, and if blood sugar levels were to increase, he would take the insulin as a last resort. However, soon enough he started to lose weight. All was well.

His entire health condition improved, his blood pressure went to 120/70, his triglycerides level 1.4, he did not take insulin or any other medication, and eventually lost more than 45 pounds.

Recipe of his favorite juice
- 2 bananas
- 2 apples
- a handful of kale
- 5 kiwis
- half a liter of water
You should drink half a liter of the prepared juice in the morning, and you can consume the rest of it throughout the day. When you feel hungry, you can eat unlimited amounts of fruits, salads, or tuna (or meats rich in B12).
The advantage of this healthy way of living is that you are never hungry, because the brain does not know that the stomach is empty. This results from the fact that the brain gets information through the blood, and the blood is loaded with the nutrients with raw foods and juicing.
